The LeventinaWestern herd
The horses of LeventinaWestern live year-round in a natural herd environment, in open stabling across the wide pastures of our Azienda Agricola Marachiei in Osco and the mountain alpine meadows of the Leventina region. They grow and live as horses are meant to — together. Freedom of movement and natural herd dynamics allow them to develop balanced, reliable characters. Living outdoors in every season, grazing daily on varied terrain and in all weather conditions, they become sure-footed, resilient, and mentally steady. This natural lifestyle shapes horses that are calm, trustworthy, and adaptable in every situation. Whether during our introductory programs for children, relaxed forest rides, or multi-day mountain treks, our horses respond with the same quiet strength and generosity. They are not simply trained — they are grounded. Raised by Nature, Ready for You Because they live in harmony with the land, they adapt beautifully to different riders and experiences. From a child discovering the first contact with a horse… to an adult seeking peace on a quiet trail… to those who wish to explore our mountains over several days in the saddle — our herd carries you safely.
