Training

In basic training, I have primarily followed the teachings of Roland Messerli and the method of Tom Dorrance, passed down to us through Ray Hunt. The human must assume the role of the herd leader in order to earn the horse’s respect. It requires confidence, calm authority, and above all, consistency. Only then can we be recognized by the horse as a trustworthy leader — building a solid foundation of respect and mutual trust. My goal is to train young horses in a way that allows them to become reliable companions — partners we can trust during our rides and in the quiet moments of everyday life.
