General Terms and Conditions

1. Insurance and Liability

Personal Coverage: Each participant/guest declares they hold valid accident insurance and personal liability insurance (RC) covering sporting and outdoor activities in Switzerland.

Liability Waiver: Activities involving animals and mountain environments carry inherent risks. Leventinawestern declines all liability for accidents, illnesses, or damage to persons or property occurring before, during, or after the services provided, except in cases of willful intent or gross negligence (Art. 100 CO).

Inherent Risks: The client consciously accepts the risks associated with equestrian practice, animal behavior, and the rustic nature of mountain accommodations.

2. Safety and Conduct

Instructions: Participants/guests agree to strictly follow all safety instructions provided by the Team (e.g., horse handling, use of the yurt stove, fire safety).

Equipment: The use of a certified safety helmet is mandatory for all minors during horse activities. For adults, it is strongly recommended; any waiver is at their sole risk.

Termination: In the event of dangerous behavior, the Team reserves the right to terminate the activity or stay immediately without a refund.

3. Fitness and Experience Level

Health: Participants must be in suitable physical and mental condition. Any health concerns (allergies, phobias, cardiac/motor conditions) must be disclosed before the start.

Skill Assessment: For equestrian activities, the declared level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) must accurately reflect actual skills. If the actual skill level or behavior is found to compromise the safety of the group, the facility, or the animals, the Leventinawestern Team reserves the right to modify the program, suspend the activity, or exclude the dangerous individual from the activity or premises.

4. Representation and Signature

Accompaniment of Minors: For the first experience or stay, a minor must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

Parental Authority: Anyone booking for a minor declares they hold legal parental authority and assumes full responsibility for the statements made.

On-site Signature: All participants/guests (minors and adults) are required to provide a handwritten signature on a liability waiver upon their first arrival at the Ranch or Yurta.
